MIATA (Minimal Information About T-cell Assays)

One of the main goals of the CIP workgroup is to support protocol exchange and transparency in reporting regarding in vitro (T-cell) assays and their analyses. To facilitate standardized interpretation of published results, CIP has been one of the driving forces of the MIATA initiative. The reporting framework MIATA (MinimalInformation About T-cell Assays) enables an objective and thorough interpretation of data from T cell assays.

The concept has been recently expanded to MIANKA (Minimal Information About NKcell Assays). MIATA-compliant reporting can be implemented in manuscripts for any journal, and an increasing list of journals are explicitly endorsing the use of MIATA guidelines
