CIMT collaborates with major international organizations like the Cancer Immunotherapy Consortium of the Cancer Research Institute (CRI-CIC) and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). CIMT is a FOCIS members society and maintains a partnership with the Japanese Association for Cancer Immunotherapy (JACI) and the Research Center for Immunotherapy at Johannes Gutenberg University (FZI) in Mainz. Furthermore, CIMT cooperates with the journal Cancer Immunology Immunotherapy (CII). CIMT has also been a dissemination platform for GAPVAC, the EU funded Glioma Actively Personalized Vaccine Consortium. In 2021, CIMT has teamed up with the Young European Federation of Immunological Societies (yEFIS) to connect all early career scientists in Europe working in immunology.

CIMT is also a founding member of the European Network for Cancer Immunotherapy (ENCI), a collaborative information and networking platform of the Association for Cancer Immunotherapy, the European Academy of Tumor Immunology and the Italian Network for Tumor Biotherapy. ENCI harmonizes the activities of the European cancer immunotherapy community and fosters collaboration across organizations and countries. By providing and disseminating information, organizing scientific meetings and educating political decision makers, ENCI aims to advance the research and implementation of cancer immunotherapy in Europe.
